The Michael Stanley MakerSpace at the Chesapeake Arts Center is a collaborative workspace designed to create a hands-on learning experience, bring technology and tools into the hands of our community, and foster an environment for invention and play.
There are a number of ways to enjoy the MakerSpace. Go at it on your own during our Open Studio time (some safety training required; see below and reach out for more information before your first visit), or join us for an upcoming workshop! Learn a new skill like woodworking or screen printing, or grab some friends for a fun, easy craft anyone will enjoy.
Maryland Maker Meet-up

Explore valuable insights on techniques and material selection
Uncover effective strategies for promoting and successfully selling your creations
Meet us in the MakerSpace for an art-inspired dialog that examines process, materials, and connection. Bring your questions, ideas, and curiosity! Enjoy refreshments, light snacks, and creative conversations.
