Call for Artists! Created during Covid Exhibition at the Chesapeake Arts Center

Why We Need Arts in Times of Crisis

We are still experiencing a global pandemic. We are engaging with racial injustice made more visible with George Floyd's death and the recent protests across the globe. We need humanity, expression, and the community that the arts create.

This is a time to value the arts. Whether big or small, community murals or art projects your created with your family, art makes a difference in how we live our lives.  And, we want YOU to share what you created to help inspire others.

The arts create wellness in our day-to-day lives by helping us process our lives individually and allowing us to come together collectively.

This all medium exhibit aims to showcase artwork from Maryland/D.C. artists of all ages created during their time spent at home during the COVID-19.
