Join us at CAC to celebrate the first solo exhibition for Baltimore-based Nigerian artist Villager! This is one incredibly talented emerging artist you will not want to miss. There will be a special reception and artist talk event on December 8th in Gallery 194, wine and cheese will be served.
“Much like a journey, BUSH BOY! is the product of a ritualistic rebirth and metamorphosis of SELF, inviting viewers to reflect and seek meaning in their humanity. Challenging the statement, “that’s just how it is” with a more human centered question- “does it have to be that way?”, these works invite the viewer to re-examine and improve their understanding of our shared human conditions.”
