Join us for a creative workshop (workshop activity TBD) with members of Bmore Fabric Swap at Chesapeake Arts Center. Founded in 2023 by Baltimore artists Charlotte Hager, Loralee Tyson, and Laura Flamm, Bmore Fabric Swap brings local sewists and crafters together to destash, restash, and connect through community events. With seven events hosted and approximately 800 attendees since May 2023, the Swap has diverted over 8,000 pounds of reusable materials from landfills. Emphasizing the revolutionary power of sewing, we celebrate resource sharing, creativity, and sustainable practices within our vibrant community.
This group exhibition in collaboration with Bmore Fabric Swap is on view November 18, 2026 - January 6, 2027 in our Hal Gomer Gallery.

DIRECTIONS: Chesapeake Arts Center's address is 194 Hammonds Lane, Brooklyn Park, MD 21225. When you arrive at CAC and turn into the parking lot from Hammonds Lane, follow the parking lot past Hammonds Lane Theatre to the rear of the building and look for a large blue awning and sign that says Chesapeake Arts Center (Next to the Maya Angelou mural.)
