For 25 years, Chesapeake Arts Center (CAC) has been a place where creativity grows layer by layer. Every student, artist, volunteer, donor, instructor, and audience member has helped shape our story. Layers and Light celebrates that collective impact while illuminating the next chapter of artistic discovery, community connection, and creative possibility.
On Friday, October 23, 2026, we invite you to join us for Layers and Light, CAC's signature 25th Anniversary Gala. More than 200 donors, members, community leaders, business executives, artists, and supporters will gather for an immersive evening of art, music, interactive experiences, extraordinary visuals, a silent auction, exceptional food, signature cocktails, and celebration.
We have chosen one of the most creative spaces in our region--Baltimore Museum of Industry--for our gala celebration and invite you to be part of this fun, festive, and interactive evening. The Baltimore Museum of Industry interprets the diverse and significant human stories behind labor and innovation in Baltimore, cultivating a sense of belonging and inspiring visitors to think critically about the intersection of work and society.
Located in an 1860s oyster cannery on a five-acre waterfront campus, the BMI offers dynamic indoor and outdoor exhibitions, live demonstrations, engaging tours, and hands-on activities for visitors of all ages.
