Hal Gomer Gallery

The act of creation has been a part of Maiya Lonesome’s life for as long as she can remember. A self taught artist, she began drawing at a very young age, though she didn’t start painting until much later on. As a child, Maiya often found herself utilizing her imagination to keep herself entertained, fostering a sense of wonder and playfulness that can still be seen in her work as an artist today.

Join us as Gallery Coordinator Eric Birkin gives a special presentation about our Rooted exhibition, followed by a live interview with the artist Maiya Lonesome. There is no better way to get a behind-the-scenes look into the show and the minds of the artists involved, you won't want to miss it!
