Urban Fragments - Tom Rostkowski

Like many artists and also finding gratification in being a gardener, I find great inspiration in nature. I hand build ceramic boxes and art tiles that reflect nature using flowers, leaves, animals, and more to decorate my boxes and tiles. I get totally lost in the process and very much enjoy working with clay. Being retired, I find that this fills a void and keeps me busy, and I look forward to every day and how the next project will turn out. I utilize the open studio at CAC and find inspiration and comradery working with my fellow artists. It's a great place.

Ironworks Pottery - Meg von der Linden

Step right up, step right up, take a look at the one woman freakshow of Ironworks Pottery. Birthed in Meg’s underground laboratory this woman is preserving a craft as old as time itself! Gaze in awe at wheel thrown pottery inspired by cult classics and alternative culture! She’s got pots for all ages; swooping tentacles, wrought iron elements, hand drawn designs, all covered with glazes, concocted in house, that will have you trembling! Don't miss out on this opportunity to make your life a little weirder.

Monique Ellington Art - Maiya Lonesome

I am a self taught artist whose creating medium ranges from charcoal to acrylics to digital images. Much of my artwork is a blend between abstracts and portraits. I draw inspiration for my work from the world in which we exist that has often silenced the voices of women of color. Much of my portrait work is rooted in the (at times) quiet strength of women that when reimagined digitally becomes enlivened and eye catching with addition of highly pigmented colors and bold abstracts.

Paige’s Pottery and Paintings - Paige Williams

My journey to being an artist began at the age of 2 with creating paintings using paper and asking that my work be displayed in frames and placed in our living room. As time moved forward, I developed my skill by taking classes in elementary and high school. It was not until college I decided to paint to de-stress. Although I thought it was a pastime for winding down, an opportunity came to share my work. Today, I share with you my favorite pieces of art.

Chic and Crafty Nurse Boutique - Christina Custis

My name is Christina, I am a full-time registered nurse, wife and mother. I enjoy traveling, dancing, and good food. In the midst of a pandemic I never imaged I would become a small business owner in 2020.

I discovered I had a hidden passion, and ability to create unique gifts that people could cherish and turn into lasting memories.

Nurses continue to learn throughout their careers to gain knowledge so they can competently fulfill standards of care. As a crafter, I seek to learn new things to grow my business, and look forward to the day when I can open my very own store front.

Polymer clay earrings kept popping up on my Pinterest and Instagram feed. I became OBSESSED! I purchased the materials I thought I needed and began making for myself.
