Fort Washington, MD -based artist Bethel says of this exhibit "My art reflects the journey of embracing self-worth, dismantling generational wounds, and stepping into my purpose unapologetically. It speaks to the quiet victories of my everyday existence and the brilliance of dreaming boldly in a world that often tries to dim the glow of Black expression. I aim to create a space where vulnerability meets strength, and where the richness of my identity is not just seen but deeply felt through this exhibition."
This exhibit will be on display from August 13-September 21, 2025 in the Patricia Barland Gallery at Chesapeake Arts Center.
