Quiet Healing explores the intersection of how humans are layered creatures, navigating the nuances of existence, our trials and tribulations, while also being mindful of our layered impact on the environment; the planet as a whole and the communities in which we live. The exhibition showcases the deep, meaningful, and at times really difficult things to express but displaying them in visually beautiful and alluring ways through sewing and multimedia textile art creations. For Charlotte Hager, it's critical to utilize materials that already exist and repurpose them back into artwork so that these objects can have more than one life. There is a relationship in the exhibition’s work of healing oneself through creating and healing the environment through sustainable creative practices.

This exhibition is on display in our Patricia Barland Gallery from November 18, 2026 - January 6, 2027. To learn more about Hager’s artwork, please visit their website at www.charlottehager.com
